Big East River
The Big East River has been a favorite route of canoeists and anglers alike for many years. The river flows from Algonquin Park into the nearby town of Huntsville. It is a pleasant, safe trek for those who wish to experience the rugged scenery by water and view its wildlife. There are many sections of the river that are wide open spaces, which reveal the most spectacular views of brilliant blue skies. The dappled cobalt blue and ivory colors of this bead are strikingly similar to the views from the Big East River, as it scenically flows through the heart of Muskoka.
The focal bead is etched to render a luxurious matte finish and includes two matte finished ivory accent beads. The outside dimension of the focal bead measures approximately 20mm with a hole size of approx. 3.25mm. The accent beads are approx. 10mm with a hole of approx. 3.25mm.

The River Collection
Every river I have ever paddled brings forth its own individuality. What is true of each is that it can bring peace, reflection and wonder; from the smallest ripple to a towering wave, or from a meandering stream to a thundering rapid.
Just as each river is unique, so are the rocks that a river runs through, over or under. If you look closely, each rock has it’s own beauty, whether it’s the color, the shape, the sedimentary lines formed by millennium or the lichens that make them their homes.
The beads in this collection bare the names of some of the rivers I grew up calling “home” in Algonquin Park, Canada.
